Hello lovely people

Dear Mavens,

I hope you have all had a good few weeks after the 'back to school' feeling! As I said in my last newsletter I had really struggled over the holidays. My boys had been home from school and university since June ... yes bloody June!!! Then just like that we dropped them both off at uni this weekend and all my moaning about messy bedrooms and stinky socks vanished. It was the weirdest feeling ever coming home to an empty house, knowing they won't be home until December. Paul and I have been parents since we were in our early twenties so life is going to be very different for us a a couple. I am feeling so motivated today and it really feels like MY TIME!! As you may have seen from my instastories on the hub instagram account I started http://www.miraclemorning.com/ today. My husband agreed to do it with me which was a total shocker as he is usually quite sceptical, no actually VERY sceptical!! The exercise bit we agreed on a 20 minute run each morning, which he loves and I am desperately trying to master running so we thought this would work well for both of us. Then we used the headspace app for our guided meditation as we are both new to this and thought it would ease us in. (Paul loved it) So what is it all about... well it is basically about living your life and being the very best version of yourself and your life that you can be. Being in the best relationship, earning the best wage, being at your perfect weight and health level. In his book Hal also talks about spending your time with people who inspire and motivate you. He says how important it is to join an online community of like-minded souls!

"If you want your life to be different, you must be willing to do something different.

According to the Social Security Administration, if you take any 100 people at the start of their working careers and follow them for the next 40 years until they reach retirement age, here’s what you’ll find: only 1 will be wealthy; 4 will be financially secure; 5 will continue working, not because they want to but because they have to; 36 will be dead; and 54 will be broke and dependent on friends, family, relatives, and the government to take care of them.

Monetarily speaking, that’s only 5% of us who will be successful in creating a life of freedom and 95% who will continue to struggle their entire lives." Hal Elrod I will be recording my findings on our hub instastories and I'd love to hear from any of you if you are going to join me or have already done this. I have committed to try this for 30 days (ouch!!!) I am not good at getting up early so I know I will struggle!! x

Ask for help If you are struggling with something ask for help! We all need a helping hand and trading our expertise is a great thing to do. Sometimes we might just need a fresh pair of eyes to overlook an email or a new design etc. Collaboration Put yourself forward to work on collaborations .. we are so much stronger together ladies!! This can be in so many ways, an Instagram competition, products for events, goody bag ideas, business cards left in each others stores. This list could go on and on here... By putting yourself forward you will get noticed!! Support each other On the 'Sunday Social' try really hard to connect and get social. This will increase your networking circle and real interactions are always the best way forward! I am so excited to welcome September into my life and get going again !!! Who's with me ??? See you all soon lovely friends xx Love H x
